Solidarity Across Borders

The NO ONE IS ILLEGAL MARCH ON OTTAWA will be kicking off in Montreal on Saturday June 18th, at noon, from Square Cabot (metro Atwater) , will carry on from Montreal to Ottawa (more than 200 kilometres!) and will arrive to its destination on June 25.

We encourage participants to register for the march, so that we have good idea about numbers to prepare for lodgings and food. Even if you're not marching the entire distance, you are encouraged to register in advance. If you are not yet registered, you can download and fill a sign-up sheet here (fax ASAP to QPIRG Concordia, a/s SAB, fax: (514) 848-7584),or send us the information through e-mail here.

In order for the walk to be a success, we need your help! If you can loan us a vehicule for the duration of the march (or even for a few days), please fill out the Vehicule donation form and let us know ASAP (sansfrontieres@resist.ca). Also, take a look at the list of goods and services which we will need for the march. Get in touch if you can donate or loan any of these items.

We still need donations to help us meet the various costs of this march (bus rentals, gas and many other costs). Any donation, $5, $50, $100 or more, is greatly appreciated. We are currently asking for up to 250 people to donate $50 each, which will help us meet a large part of our costs. So far, at least 50 people have donated, but we need a lot more!

If you can contribute to the 250x$50 plan for the Solidarity Across Borders March on Ottawa, write a cheque in the name of "Solidarité sans frontières" with "250x50" in the memo line.
