Call for Support and Solidarity for Kevin
Kevin arrived in Canada when he was three years old and has lived here for thirty years. Canada is planning to deport him to Haiti on Sunday, October 6th. Read his story here.
Please write or call TODAY AND TOMORROW to ask the Immigration Minister to stop his deportation by granting him a temporary residence permit.
Here is a template you can use: “Dear Minister of Immigration Marc Miller, I am writing to ask you to stop the deportation of Kevin. I read his story in the media. Canada is his home and sending him to Haiti is unacceptable. His lawyer has already applied for a temporary residence permit (TRP) to allow him to stay in Canada until he has permanent residence again. Please immediately accept the TRP application so that he is not deported on Sunday. Thank you. NAME / ADDRESS / DATE”
